Pristine English ironstone black transfer platter in the Pelew pattern, made by E Chanllinor c1850. This ironstone platter is in mint condition. No chips, cracks, or discoloration. It looks like it was never used. Measures 17 and three quarter inches long by 13 and three quarter inches wide and one and one half inches high. Clear and vibrant print.

African carved hardwood head sculpture from colonial era Ganda c1950. It was collected by an academic when he lived and worked there. To be quite exact, it is a Kiganda head made by a Muganda from Biganda in Uganda. It measures 9 and one half inches high, and retains its original surface.

Charming 18th century English tea box c1790. Richly grained mahogany with an ivory and brass knob and a fine hand made brass hinge. The inside retains its original silver paper lining. Measures 4 and one quarter inches wide by 4 and three quarter inches deep and 5 and one quarter inches high. Mint original condition, no cracks, chips or repairs.This is the sweetest little tea box we have come across in years.

China Trade lacquer sewing box with drawer, mirror, and ivory fittings c1800. This exotic Chinoiserie sewing box measures 13 inches wide by 9 inches deep and 5 and one half inches high. It is in very good condition, with some minor paint loss and minor cracks. The scenes are finely painted in minute detail, including pavillions, bridges, pagodas, boats, rocks, trees, and noble persons. Original key and most of the original sewing implements.
