The base measures 5 inches by 5 inches by 2 inches high. David Kintzler, sculptor, born 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio. Education: B.F.A. Sculpture, Kent State University. M.A. Painting, Kent State University. M.F.A. Sculpture, Syracuse University. Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Skowhegan, ME. Apprentice Stone Carver, Johnston Monument Works, Newburgh, NY. Taught sculpture at Syracuse University, Kansas City Art Institute, Housatonic Community College, Bpt. CT (Professor Emeritus). Potthast Brothers mahogany gentlemans dresser mirror c1900. This "Potthast dresser mirror" is all original, made from solid mahogany and measures 22 inches wide, 6 and one half inches deep at the sides and 8 and one half inches deep at the center. The height to the top of the mirrors turned side braces is 22 inches, the mirror itself measures 17 by 15 and three quarter inches. There are two drawers with wide hand cut dovetails. This lovely mirror was hand made by the Potthast Brothers in Baltimore MD in 1930. Potthast furniture is one of the best investments one could make at this time. The prices for high quality exact handmade reproductions of 18th century American furniture by makers from the late 19th to early 20th century is going up and up all the time. Potthast was one of the top makers from this period and is heavily collected.

This unusual 19th century Japanese "ship in a bottle" is of British origin and crafted around 1860 to 1870. This ship in a bottle measures 12 an one half inches from base to top and the base is 5 and one quarter inches in diameter. There is a crack on the base which can be seen in one of the photographs.
