Time: 9m 42s Stamped on the bottom, "Warranted Sterling Silver B Peterson & Co." Sterling Silver Award Cup. Measures 6 and one half inches high. This silver trophy measures 4 and one quarter inches across at the brim. This horse trophy weighs 989 and one half grams.The Club was formed in 1871, being the oldest Club in NZ and the second amateur athletics club to be formed in the world. An eighty page booklet on the Clubs history was compiled for the Clubs 125th Jubilee Anniversary in February 1997.
